That’s why we carefully select, test, and use every piece of gear ourselves before bringing it to our community through our shops. And if the gear we want doesn’t exist yet? Then we design and build it ourselves.

About Us
Moss Gear is the company that runs Bikepackingshop and Lightweight Outdoor. The owner, Bas is a passionate outdoor fanatic. His love for ultra bikepacking races and his previous weight weenie addictions are the perfect combination for seeking out amazing lightweight gear for “gear nerds” like himself. What started in 2015 as a search for better gear for our own trips has grown into Moss Gear – a company dedicated to helping others experience the freedom of lightweight adventures.
